Argo - More development needed

[edit]

As you probably know, Argo is a prominent character in the SAO Manga and also very prominent in the games as well as the newest Light Novels; so its Obvious that more development is needed considering her role. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zenyaria (talkcontribs) 17:53, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kuradeel - Incorrect Info?

[edit]

The article states:

"Kuradeel is actually a surviving member of the red guild "Laughing Coffin", and holds a murderous grudge against both Kirito and Asuna for their part in the guild's destruction. He later acts on his grudge and tries to murder Kirito and then Asuna, but is instead killed by Kirito using an unarmed skill."I POPPY!

This seems to be different from what I read in the manga and see in the Anime. While he is is a member of Laughing Coffin, the Anime doesn't mention anything about hating Asuna/Kirito because of Laughing Coffin. And the manga says he only recently joined Laughing Coffin when he decided to poison and kill Kirito. I was going to change it, but I've never read the light novels. Is this info consistent with what is in the light novels? Because I know the light novels/anime/manga often have some minor differences here and there.

Well, I wouldn't say he had a murderous grudge against them for the guild's destruction, more of personal reasons if anything. In the light novels, Kuradeel does have a huge obsession with Asuna with being her personal guard and what not to the case of stalking her but using "guard duty" as a front, which is not portrayed well in the anime, IPOPPY!!!and he does not like Kirito being Asuna's love interest. Also losing the first duel with Kirito didn't make the certain any better. The wording can be different but he does hold a grudge towards them pretty much.--iGeMiNix 04:34, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's pretty close to what I gathered after putting the information from the manga and anime together. So his grudge is more along the lines of "crazy jealous stalker" instead of "revenge for guild". I'll try and reword that section later today when I get home. Unless somebody else does it before me. 202.72.135.193 (talk) 06:28, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, parts of it have to do with the guild's destruction but not entirely and go for it. You could probably reword it so say it is a mix of both as the previous sentence also states that he openly hates Kirito also.--iGeMiNix 06:39, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Have rewritten the Kuradeel section as described Dvdmad100 (talk) 03:03, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article status

[edit]

In my recent attempts at improving this article I've found that at least ten of the character bios have been directly copy-pasted from this website. They are Kirito, Asuna, Agil, Klein, Sachi, Heathcliff, Lizbeth, Kagemune, Recon and Yui. Just thought I'd throw this out there in case any one in the future has the time to do complete rewrites. To be fair, I don't know which website had the information first, but it's still worth noting here. —KirtZMessage 23:23, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In the Heathcliff section "He is defeated by Kirito at the end of Volume 4, leaves behind a program that grants Kirito the World Seed." grammatically makes no sense since there should be comma or a period between "Kirito" and "at" making: "He is defeated by Kirito. At the end of Volume 4, leaves behind a program that grants Kirito the World Seed" this however seems disjointed — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.179.170.45 (talk) 22:25, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
A bit late but 1. That website being a wikia is user-edited and not subject to copyright, and 2. The Wikipedia page pre-dates that source. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 23:13, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sachi - Incorrect Information

[edit]

As of 1:20 PM, 12-6-2014, the subsection under "Sachi" contained the following line: "She was a member of "Moonlit Black Butts" which was the first guild Kirito joined." I am reasonably certain that that is not the correct name of Kirito's first guild. I have corrected it to "Moonlit Black Cats" in order to avoid confusion.

a small question...

[edit]

On my earlier edit, [1] I thought there was a few extra markings? And, I guess something went wrong? Uh, which markings or brackets has that extra part? Or just leave as is? Tainted-wingsz (talk) 02:40, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Side Characters

[edit]

There are some significant side characters missing from the Underworld Residents and Antagonists lists; primarily those from the sword academy arc. This includes Sortiliena Serlut, Raios Antinous and Humbert Zizek, each of whom played major parts in the Alicization storyline. Due to the bredth of characters that play an important part in the arc, might I suggest formatting the page more clearly?

Kirito

[edit]

Some bits of unclear phraseology or improper grammar in this section. I don't know anything about SAO so I've cleaned up the parts where I could tell what was trying to be said but someone with some knowledge of the subject should fix the parts where the meaning is ambiguous.
