I just watched a Mike Zeroh video on YouTube that says the three upcoming films of the Skywalker saga, episodes X, XI and XII, are currently in development and will be announced at Star Wars Celebration next year. The video mentioned something about Darth Talon, the One Sith and the new Jedi Order on the planet Tatooine. AdamDeanHall (talk) 15:32, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Even for YouTube, Mike Zeroh is an especially horrendous source of information. Ignoring Mike Zeroh is good rule of thumb. Nemov (talk) 18:21, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm wondering whether we should be using the phrase "anthology films" to describe standalone films such as Rogue One. In this article, Kathleen Kennedy called such films "anthology films", but according to Wikipedia, they do not fit the definition of an anthology film. Most of the sources cited on this page relating to Rogue One and Solo call them "standalone films", which is what they are. We could use the Lucasfilm language, but Lucasfilm is not using the term correctly. Wafflewombat (talk) 02:50, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The term is being used to refer to an "anthology film series", meaning a series of standalone films, not a "series of anthology films". - adamstom97 (talk) 17:21, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
