Chapter titles
[edit]Could someone please update the chapter titles of the chapters not yet in tankobon format? (I mean the original japanese/romaji titles). Thanks! - 84.189.226.238 (talk) 15:02, 19 April 2009 (UTC) For messages: Discussion Page at Wikia
Arc titles
[edit]Instead of listing every volume in the section, I listed it by arc when I reformatted it using the wikitables. Reasons as to why the arcs are titled this way are as follows:
- Introductions arc
- In volumes 1-7, there are at least two or more characters introduced in the story. Also, the characters introduced are the leading characters and the most recurring ones. However, I still consider it the most questionable arc title, so if others have suggestions on a better one, I wouldn't mind hearing it. (Fine, Daily Life arc is being used as the Japanese wiki uses it also.)
- Kokuyō Gang arc
- A given. The entire arc revolves around the Kokuyō Junior High Gang.
- The Varia arc
- A toss up between the Vongola Rings/Tournament arc and The Varia arc. I chose The Varia arc because a member of The Varia was introduced before the Vongola Rings were, and they're present from the beginning of the arc to the end. They are also depicted as the focal point of this arc; events and revelations surrounds its members rather than the rings. Also, the Vongola Rings were only introduced in this arc - they become more significant to the story in the Future arc. Meanwhile, the Vongola Tournament is more of a mini-arc within The Varia arc.
- Future arc
- A given, but since it is only beginning, it may change as the arc continues (unlikely though).

Format of Chapter Titles
[edit]Could someone please organize them into a table? Target #, Japanese title, yomi, English title. A column for yomi is needed since some are read differently than the kanji title. May also want to make note of which of the English titles are official translations, and which are fan translations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.123.157.192 (talk) 11:13, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the target numbers are already stated in the wikitable, while the nihongo templates already states the kanji, romanization, and English titles, so separate columns for them aren't really necessary. As for differentiating between the official English and just the translations is another matter. Fan translations are only stated if an official translation is unknown at the time, and it is also best not to state that it is a fan translation in the first place. Once the official English titles are known, they should replace the fan translations. If anyone knows the official titles, then they should correct the titles given in the article.
