I believe there is a an incorrect hyperlink for James L. Gordon (1979–1983), one of the principal chiefs of United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians. The current link redirects to the Wikipedia page of James L. Gordon (1917-1967), the first elected mayor of Olongapo City, Philippines. I'm unfamiliar with editing pages so the correction would be much appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.255.130.86 (talk) 08:41, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Eastern Band of Cherokee Principal Chiefs

[edit]

Hello, I have realized the inconsistency of the number of Principal Chiefs the EBCI had over the years and believe the current numbering is off. Is their a source that provides specifics on like who was the 15th or 24th Principal Chief officially was. As it stands, the count needs to reduce by one for those in the 20th/21st Century. The current list on the page is correct from multiple sources, but I think the numbering got botch by those that had nonconsecutive terms accidentally counted. --WashuOtaku (talk) 02:44, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The EBCI has a list that includes William Holland Thomas, who is typically not included in most references as a Principal Chief. Should he be included even though most sources do not recognize him as such? --WashuOtaku (talk) 15:32, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
