Ratings for episode "Mac's Back"

[edit]

Since TV Media Insights restructured their site and old links are dead, those references need to be archived. The problem is, for "Mac's Back", there is a note saying it's in the comments section. Archive.org was not able to archive that since it uses Disqus which loads using JavaScript. I checked Archive.is (which we wouldn't be able to use anyway, thanks to some people, which I still find ridiculous). It has the comments section but no mention of Kirby Buckets, because it was archived too early. So we have no reliable way of verifying that information now unless we can find another source. That doesn't necessarily mean we have to remove it completely, I guess it can be assumed that it has been verified by the editor who added it at the time. nyuszika7h (talk) 15:00, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For "Kick the Buckets", I found it on Archive.is, but as I said it cannot be used on enwiki (see Wikipedia:Archive.is RFC), and I haven't yet found a way to get another site to archive it (I tried WebCite, but the resulting link is a 404). This is not the place to discuss it and it seems pointless to start another discussion as it probably wouldn't change the status quo, but this is a great example of how the people who have voted to ban its use are actively harming the encyclopedia. nyuszika7h (talk) 15:11, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I guess we can use Memento [1] as suggested at Wikipedia:Using archive.is. – nyuszika7h (talk) 15:18, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Viewership data

[edit]

IJBall, Geraldo Perez, MPFitz1968, Nyuszika7H

Due to the nature of the viewership data being so hard to obtain and keep—the viewers link to the comment I just added for S2 E21 I'm sure will become invalid soon—especially season two, I'm considering just removing the viewers column altogether from the article. It would be nice if Showbuzz Daily would show everything, or, at the very least, up it to the top 200 or 250. If one of the other reliable sources, such as Zap2it's TV by the Numbers section, is more reliable for shows that have generally lower viewers, we could use one of them.

I'm open to ideas. Amaury (talk | contribs) 02:21, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For season #2, I'd still leave it in – it looks like there's enough data there to populate about half of the (viewership) cells. However, at the main Kirby Buckets article, there is not enough data from these to do "season average viewership" values – luckily, it looks like nobody has really attempted that there. --IJBall (contribstalk) 03:23, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
With archive.is now removed from the blacklist, I should be able to get the info / fix the reference for some of them, though others are simply not available as on some days Showbuzz Daily seems to simply decide not to publish the full top 50/100/150/etc. (or even if they do it may fall outside that range). nyuszika7h (talk) 07:46, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, it looks like I haven't even fixed the TV Media Insights links here yet... nyuszika7h (talk) 07:51, 13 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated addition of number of episodes and end date for season two

[edit]

It's pretty clear season two is over; however, we cannot put an end date or the number of episodes for that season until season three episodes are announced as that is WP:OR. If there is a source claiming the end of season two and its number of episodes, we can use that; however, no such source exists, so wait until season three episodes are announced. Any continued additions in the future will be reverted on the spot without hesitation. Amaury (talk | contribs) 19:04, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
