It would be good to turn the bullet point list into a table. Useful categories: date of creation, date of liquidation, country / Nazi administrative unit where applicable, highest population, notes. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:03, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Nazi ghettosList of Jewish ghettos in German-occupied Europe – The current title is not clear (an uninformed reader could even think this is a list of ghettos "for" Nazis). I suggest renaming this to follow the same structure as List of Jewish ghettos in German-occupied Poland. I'll note that the current article includes a single ghetto outside Europe (Shangai) but it's more of a see also - and it's just as a bad fit in the current article as it will be after the rename (since Japan was not a Nazi country). List of Jewish ghettos in German-occupied EuropeList of Jewish ghettos in Axis-occupied Europe – Bulgaria and Romania were never occupied by Germany, and Hungary was for a short period of time before which several ghettos were established by Hungary's own will. Oppose the proposed title as it does not solve the identified issue. By your own logic, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania did not occupy their own country. (edited to add: Alternate approaches would be either narrowing the scope to ghettos run by Nazi Germany and renaming back to List of Nazi ghettos (the approach taken by the Encyclopedia of Camps and Ghettos), or renaming to List of ghettos during World War II or List of ghettos during the Holocaust.) If consensus prefers List of Jewish ghettos in German-occupied EuropeJewish ghettos in Europe during World War II, instead of List of Jewish ghettos in German-occupied EuropeJewish ghettos in World War II Europe, I would also support that option. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 01:16, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
