I would like to see the list organized into regions (based in Northern India, Southern India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia), but that would be a lot of work. J390 (talk) 21:21, 9 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Scope of the article

LIST OF EMPIRES

[edit]

NAME OF EMPIRES IN LIST IS WRONG 50% EMPIRES NAME ARE MYTHOLOGICAL ,NOT HISTORICAL.SPREADING FAKE HISTORY TO THE WORLD . 45.124.146.102 (talk) 14:05, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a source that contains (much) smaller lists in the text. Do you have particular examples of nonexistent kingdoms? Викидим (talk) 09:42, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Listing of mythical dynasties with firm dates makes little sense IMHO. Pinging @Historyind9500bce: pretty good sources will be needed to place exact dates (like 1900 BC) onto legendary, but not necessarily real, empires like Iksvakus kingdom. I will move legendary empires into their own table for now. Викидим (talk) 19:43, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have placed the "Puranic kings" into their own section slong with some explanations. Feel free to move other legendary kings there. Викидим (talk) 16:09, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
