[edit]From A to Zoo is separated in two episodes, so there is part 1 and 2
Episodes
[edit]Should we consider creating individual pages for the TV episodes.
RE: Episodes
[edit]I believe we should have it done for all episodes, it may take some work, but i'm confident we could get some nice, new pages up.
Pyro Python (talk) 22:04, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
I already started, I added two episode pages, and I illustrated all the existing ones. If we are many contributers to add episode pages, we can finish that quickly, even if we each only add one page a week. As a primary responsibility, I could illustrate. Having main articles in all internet shorts, TV episodes and irregular episodes would be perfect.
--Mr Alex (talk) 00:42, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'd recommend against creating individual episode articles, especially for the internet episodes because I can't see how they would satisfy the notability requirement in the episode article guideline and the general notability guideline. Is there independent reception and production information available for every episode? Season lists would probably be the best course of action. Bill (talk|contribs) 01:41, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Are there some volunteers to make episode articles ?
--Mr Alex (talk) 01:51, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Please take a look at the guidelines I linked above before making any more episode articles. If the articles don't satisfy the guidelines then you will risk creating them for nothing as they'd be deleted or redirected. I suggest you look at Smallville (season 1) to see how a good season page is written and try and attempt something like that for this list article. Bill (talk|contribs) 15:26, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Season lists
[edit]I think we should make Season lists, just like Bill recommended us. We could make a list of the internet shorts by seasons, for the tv series too, and the kringles and the smoochies would be in the same list. It should look like the List of The Simpsons episodes. About the irregular episodes, they can be in the list of the internet shorts. They're should be a list of episode that would link the seasons of the tv and internet episodes including smoochies and kringles. I'd like to know if anyone agrees about it.

games
[edit]what about the htf games http://www.htfgames.com/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.212.84.154 (talk) 12:13, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
You can do what you want. If you want, you can make a list of the games. But I want you to know that in the official website, they start putting these games, and they're much more decent because they are made by the creators (I guess). And there are occasionally new games in the site. It is this website.

First New Episode
[edit]You wanted pages for individual episodes, and that's what i'm doing, look here[1] if you're interested.

Oh no!
[edit]This article is messed up. No offense. Take a look at the TV's 13th episode. By the way, I fixed the episode dates, due to a silly bug. TobytheTramEngine (talk) 08:21, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Mass Flippy Death
[edit]Now guys, can you please not go around saying hundreds of Flippys died, in the episode they were not real, so they do not count as deaths. So that will need to be changed.
Pyro Python (talk) 23:29, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
On Another Note
[edit]And is anyone able to put the episode 13 area back from the bottom of article to where it should be?
Pyro Python (talk) 23:29, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've done it, though it was a tough job. TobytheTramEngine (talk) 01:23, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Grading???
[edit]Guys, can someone tell me what is meant by grading, because a better explanation is in order. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pyro Python (talk • contribs) 16:39, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Mime to Five
[edit]Are any of you sure that Cuddles died? I noticed he survived, even if Flaky vertically got cut in half. Plus, is it possible if Nutty, The Mole and Russell got eaten by killer ducks, even if they weren't seen? TobytheTramEngine (talk) 05:29, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Need some help!
[edit]Hey, as some of you may know I'm currently creating individual episode pages for each episode of Happy Tree Friends. Recently, however, it has been brought to my attention that most, if not all, of the articles I've written (and more than likely the articles written by Pyro_Python) do not satisfy Wikipedia's episode article guideline and the general notability guideline. I promised the admin who brought this to my attention that I'd do some research to help flesh out the articles before I continue writing new ones. Does anyone know of any websites that have any Happy Tree Friends awards or production info? I've tried the official website, but I couldn't really find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Gala0008 (talk) 22:55, 8 May 2008 (UTC))

Mistake in trivia
[edit]"There are only two episodes (both of which are internet shorts) that no character dies in, although their fates are incredibly painful. These two episodes are "Nuttin' But the Tooth" and "Out on a Limb"." Why is "House Warming" not on that list? I would've thought with it being the 2nd episode everyone'd remember that one. I didn't want to just add it in as I assume there was a reason they excluded that episode, though I really can't see why they would.--TailsClock (talk) 01:54, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Really, Petunia's death in that episode is debatable. It is currently unknown if she died or not. 173.95.177.80 (talk) 20:09, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

Internet series Season 4
[edit]Can someone provide a ref to show that the 26-episode Internet series Season 4 is real? If not I'm going to remove it per WP:CRYSTALBALL. Meters (talk) 01:18, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Removed. Please don't restore it unless a reference is provided. Meters (talk) 17:06, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- Removed it yet again. This time 2 refs were provided (http://soical.happytreefriends.com/forum/topics/internet-season-4 http://socal.happytreefriends.com/forum/topics/internet-season-4), both of which were nonexistent pages. I assume the intent was to reference http://social.happytreefriends.com/forum/topics/internet-season-4. This page exists but is nothing but a fan blog from months ago. It is not a reliable source for anything, and evenif it was. it does not support the statement "On July 2012, It was announched that Happy Tree Friends was renewed for a fourth season." Meters (talk) 21:36, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Removed yet again (no sources). IP blocked for the 3rd time. Meters (talk) 20:31, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Recent editions on Series overview and Seasons
[edit]Does anyone notice the recent editions affecting the series overview and some seasons?
-Why is there an overview of eight seasons aired between 1989 and 1996 if the show began in 1999? Maybe the first official episode premiered on a film festival in USA (for the first time) only a week after it's Internet debut (during turn of the millennium).
-Why are seasons 4 episodes added at the end of season 3?
-And why is the TV Series renamed as season 4 with its episodes air date changed to a 2014 airing???
Is a Troll making fun of this episodes list? Is a newbie using this page to train himself?
YouTube Copyright School Controversy
[edit]Moved from Talk:Happy_Tree_Friends
Since the Fallout Boy music video has a link to a main article, I feel that it's only appropriate to mention YouTube Copyright School. The only reference I can find is on the List of Episodes page under Unnumbered Shorts. Considering the amount of impact this has and the controversy it's caused for not fully describing the options, consequences, and repercussions of copyright infringement, or for that matter giving a good description of what is and isn't infringement, I feel that it deserves mention.
I'm not sure how to source this, though. Many people on YouTube have commented on the video, but a more authoritative source is seemingly difficult to find. There's a blog post on Public Knowledge that mentions its flaws[1], and TechDirt discusses the vagueness of the legal messages[2], but a majority of the articles sourced with a simple search[3][4][5] just mention its launch, not the backlash.
I'm not sure that there's enough content for a full article, but I feel that there's too much for a mention in the episode box on the Unnumbered Shorts page. Thoughts? Ndm13 (talk) 13:57, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

Plot summaries
[edit]In these edits [1][2][3][4][5] I removed a ton of the alleged plot summaries from the various season articles. Some were clearly copy/pasted from other sites, but some were just completely useless, as they were not written in proper encyclopedic tone, they didn't do anything to describe the episode's plot, they were vague—and frankly, they weren't even suitable as loglines. Plot summaries should explain what happened in the episode, not ask questions like, "Didn't Toothy's mother ever tell him to never run with a lollipop?" I don't know, plot summary, why don't you tell me? I don't know what happens in this episode, but something like "Toothy ignores his mother's advice to not to run with a lollipop and winds up getting the stick caught in his eye, which requires surgery" would be better than what's there. "Things are about to turn sour... literally." This is of no use. It tells us nothing about the episode. "Maybe Lumpy should have practiced this trick first." Okay, what trick? What was the consequence of not practicing? Generally speaking, plot summaries should be 100-200 words long and should describe the initial conflict of the story, should describe what the characters do to fix the problem, and how the problem is resolved. See WP:TVPLOT for details. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:40, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

HTF episodes (Writers)
[edit](The stuff I did being changed is making me upset but I'll talk about ONE thing on here since no seems to understand where I'm coming from) The writing credits are in the right order. Check out YouTube, the DVDs, and Mondo's site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LilMarcoW (talk • contribs) 02:05, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
- Two points: 1) Regardless, you shouldn't have removed the episode summaries, as you've already been told. And, 2) It would be useful if people making these changes would start including some kind of sourcing here – a column source to where the episodes are hosted would possibly be good enough. But people keep making changes to release dates, and writers, etc. with no edit summaries and no attached sourcing, and at this point I think many of us are just going to reject these changes on WP:BURDEN grounds. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:47, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
History of disruptive editing
[edit]I looked at the page's edit history, and some users are repeatedly adding "Toon Disney" to the article. Do I smell a semi-protect? Minkai(rawr!)(see where I screwed up) 14:19, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
- @JulieMinkai: This article (and its parent article) has a far longer history of WP:DE (often "joke") edits, going beyond that specific edit, so semi-protection (relatively long-term) would likely be a good idea... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 15:02, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
Wrong Credits
[edit]lots of incorrect credits, especially Rhode Montijo who according to the article wrote episodes of season 3 and 4 despite leaving the show years ago VeryFirst (talk) 05:28, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Can you link to or produce a source that has the correct credits? --IJBall (contribs • talk) 05:57, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiEX65lytXoSIXqk6gRrOYuV8W2LxyB3e every htf episode is uploaded to youtube and it shows the directors and the writers, it's mostly season 3, 4 and 5 who are incorrect since as far as i know every episode from those seasons were written ken pontac, kenn navarro and warren graff VeryFirst (talk) 23:09, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- I would say that if you change the credits in the article, and include the URLs of the various episodes in your edit summaries, you would be unlikely to be reverted.
- At this article, it's when changes are made with blank edit summaries that you are likely to be reverted (because this article is such a vandalism target). --IJBall (contribs • talk) 23:26, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
