Rebuild of the Chapter listing

I added back a lot of formatting and separated colonies from chapters, alumni from closed chapters. At some piont the ordered lists with all the individual chapter local website URLs were removed and I can't restore them. --Bryanwxup (talk) 17:08, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

I think The UC Berkeley chapter is missing

A quick google search pulled up their page. I didnt edit them in because I thought there might be a reason for their exclusion

Chapter list problems

The list of chapters for Delta Tau Delta is incomplete. I've noted and have added several of these over the past few months; a complete review and reformatting would be helpful. One thing that will make the roster more clear is to list the chapters in a table, by founding date, with dates of chartering, notes about where they came from and possibly the year range of activity (such as other fraternities use). Indicate if a chapter is active by bolding its name, or if inactive by using italics. A table will allow room where chapter references may point to portal pages, and allow interesting facts or its outcome, all within the same table. Omega Tau Sigma or Sigma Delta Rho are two unrelated examples of how this ought to look. List of Alpha Gamma Delta chapters is a more extensive example. use the "sortable" version, to allow sorting by date, or school name, or city or state.

A great independent resource, which provides the names of many of Delt's chapters which evolved out of independent local fraternities is the Baird's Manual Online archive. Editors that make this change will find this reference useful: [1] Jax MN (talk) 22:05, 21 July 2021 (UTC)

Order of list

I have finished adding all chapters with enough available information. This is a complex list because this fraternity reassigned names constantly in the 19th century. I am wondering if we might want to vary the usual order of the list which would be by date founded, leaving this list by Greek letter order. My thought is that users can easily put the list in date order using the sort feature of the list. However, it is impossible to restore the list to Greek alphabet order with the sort feature. Something we might want to consider for other fraternal group lists as well. Thoughts? Rublamb (talk) 18:55, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
