Article worthiness
[edit]I've gotta question the decision to split this out from the Debian article; it seems to me that a list of project leaders would be much better in context, and I just don't think such a list merits a standalone article. --maru (talk) contribs 01:36, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- This list was not in the Debian article. Do you think it should be added to it? - Centrx 06:11, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
I think the problem is that an encyclopedia article is not the place for a list. This list is fairly short right now, but it will get larger. We don't list all the Presidents of the United States in that article or CEOs of IBM, just the current one. -- Centrx 22:18, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Surely, lists appear in encyclopedia. The Free software foundation article has the list of staff. --69.54.29.23 15:10, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- The FSF article has a peculiar format for other things too and isn't a good representative example. The long list of people should be removed when the article is cleaned up. —Centrx→talk • 05:22, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- No further discussion for 1.5 years; I'll remove the merge banner. —Sladen (talk) 09:26, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
