Recent changes

Hi, I have reverted some of the recent changes. I removed the colspans in the competition column because they were very inaccessible. For those readers who use screen headers, in the larger stints in Division One, the competition will be severely detached from the actual column. For ease of use, the current state is much better. I have also removed the current season as consensus at Footy is that these lists should be completed seasons only. Please also read WP:R2D, the changing of the dashes is unneccessary and it has severely clogged up the page history. Please use the show preview button to do the edits in one batch instead of 50, it is much easier to judge the edits. Alternate version

Whould you say this is better than the AVFC Seasons Article.

Frankly, this isn't about aesthetics, this is about consensus and how accessible this is to all readers. The winners/W and Runners-up/R/U, I am slightly ambivalent about, but the colspans are not accessible and go against the consenus at FOOTY. Have you read my comment above? Regards. Alternate version again

I've reverted the alternate version. Woody has explained that the long rowspans shouldn't be used because they make it difficult for people using screen readers (e.g. blind people) to make sense of the list. It doesn't matter whether it looks better or not, if it stops a section of users from reading it properly.

I have no problem with changing Winners and Runners-up to W and R/U, or to separating out the round and the European competition. But there's no point in including links to non-existent season articles. Also, the current season shouldn't be included. If people want to read about the current season, there is a link to it at the top of this article.
