Nina Willis is not a validated supercentenarian.
Nina Willis is not a validated supercentenarian. Why, Softmist, does this list contain people who can't actually prove they are the age they claim? There's a reason there's an organization that looks into such things carefully. WordwizardW (talk) 00:55, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- @WordwizardW If you look at literally any other supercentenarian page by nationality, as I said, you will find cases that are not "validated" by a validating authority but whose ages are reported as such by reliable, peer-reviewed sources (i.e., media articles). A supercentenarian need not be validated to be included, and Wikipedia will not wait for the GRG to validate claims with their embarrassingly slow validation rate in order to do so. If that were the case, we'd have zero—yes, zero—living individuals listed on the top 100 oldest men list, and that would be pretty misleading, wouldn't it? In any case, Nina Willis and Annabelle Holblinger are supposedly validated by a new organization called LongeviQuest (LQ). Their website has not yet launched, but once it does, we will be able to provide a citation for their validation. Softmist (talk) 16:32, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
- @User:SoftmistOK, good enough for me—then why was Annabelle Holblinger just removed after I carefully added her back? WordwizardW (talk) 19:52, 5 March 2023 (UTC)
- @WordwizardW Did you read this edit summary? She was already in the table at rank 90; she died in January. Softmist (talk) 19:58, 5 March 2023 (UTC)

- I don't know how to do that. I was going by LongeviQuest saying she was still alive! Oops. WordwizardW (talk) 02:40, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
