Why is everything on this page bolded? I'm going to unbold it. Lady Galaxy 20:41, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Asian-American?
[edit]Okay, so I know she writes ALL of her books about being Chinese, but she's what? 1/4 Chinese at most? Does anyone know anything about her ethnic lineage? I really think it's unfair, and basically kind of ridiculous, to include Lisa See in the category of "Asian-Americans" without some more information - no matter how much her "Asian-American ethnicity" influences her. Has anyone read her book "On Gold Mountain" and can share more about her ethnicity?
I mean I'm 1/16 Mongolian and I find it really interesting, does that mean I get to be called an authority on Genghis Khan? And I'm 1/4 Japanese, but I didn't tick the Asian-American box on my college scholarship applications. Just a thought. xprivate eyex (talk) 00:30, 4 November 2011 (UTC)

Born in Paris
[edit]Hi Wikipedians, At first I was confused that she was American but born in France. I have added details of her American parents as students in Paris. That explains that See was born in France but is an American. Thanks, SWP13 (talk) 14:25, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
