Defunct?

[edit]

Shouldn't this be linked to defunct amusement parks? Ucrfl 19:18, 8 June 2007 (UTC)ucrfl[reply]

The park is still open. Eli lilly 22:10, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why was I redirected from "Bubbles the Hippo" when the article does not mention her?

[edit]

Why was I redirected here from "Bubbles the Hippo" when the article does not mention her? She escaped from Lion Country Safari, enjoyed 19 days of freedom, mostly submerged in a pond, then was tranquilized with two darts (one being insufficiently effective), then died, 5 months pregnant, after being given yet another sedative. Nothing about her here. It would seem appropriate for her to be mentioned, but she isn't. WordwizardW (talk) 23:54, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A user created the redirect in 2007. As that user hasn't edited Wikipedia since 2017, we probably can't ask them why they created the redirect but didn't add the story of Bubbles to the article. If you wish to, you can add the story of Bubbles to the article yourself. One source is here. - Donald Albury 00:11, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
