Since this Mosque was involved in the 2019 Christchurch mosque attacks it has become somewhat notable. Details of the attack itself should be kept to the mosque attack page. However, this page content can cover general background details about the mosque such as its history.Mozzie (talk) 19:28, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Following edits today - The site to the left of the mosque site, looking in from the road, has been cleared. Added to the mosque site and the site in front of the mosque that had already been cleared, there is a large site I estimate to be around an acre/4000m2. The 'front' is facing the main road, with the outdoor mall to the right being separate with no side access. The building on the left side section was presumably used or owned by KFC although I do not remember that. The now large site will allow for the planned 1,000 attendees. Someone with greater knowledge might be able to elaborate. Roger 8 Roger (talk) 01:16, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
