Did Howe win a regional emmy for a strange harvest, I though that she was nominated for a national emmy for it (but that she didn't win it), and that her regional emmies (three I think) were all for her environmental documentaries?

Most of the bits that I've found about A strange harvest appear to have been cut and pasted from the same source.

Long winded

Someone should note this gal is the most verbose regular radio guest out there. What others can say in 5 words it takes her about 50, and she is constantly promoting her "science" web site as authentic. 209.244.42.107 19:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Not only that, but her voice is a screech, utterly unsuited to radio. I put that in the main article at some time but another editor objected and I have no wish to edit-war on the point. To me, it's simply an objective fact. El Ingles 20:59, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't think these points are encyclopedic. Yet I agree her voice isn't the most pleasing. I don't have a written book saying it, but you can't ask her a question and get an answer less than 15 minutes long, yet I find the info given in the 15 minutes to be solid stuff. Also tends to use two words right next to each other that say the same thing--redundant, is it? "The sheriff told me he had two farmers who saw cows being taken up to a UFO, a visible spaceship above their fields. The animal organ removals were done using unknown technology, superior beyond what we have on Earth." (example of her saying same idea three times "superior" "unknown" "beyond what we have"Moabalan (talk) 02:45, 9 March 2018 (UTC)

Complete lack of references

This article is nearly two years old yet the long list of claimed awards, achievements etc is still without a single verified reference. Does someone want to research them and add them? If not, all the unverified claims should be deleted per the tag? Bregence 21:23, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Intimidation

I saw on a documentary show about animal mutilations and UFOs in which she claimed that people have told her to cease and desist her work or get terminated. Can this be added ? 65.173.104.223 20:04, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

No. She needs to shut the fuck up and comply with govt. orders and policies. 65.173.105.79 02:05, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Seen the "Con Artist" reference. Just more govt. intimidation to make her shut the fucking hell up and comply with the precepts of Operation Mockingbird. 65.163.112.104 23:33, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Damn right. She is to shut her shit and comply with the Party Line. 65.163.112.128 (talk) 08:26, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay, no more of this. Wikipedia is not a soapbox; her talk pages are not a soapbox either. If you have references, you may cite them specifically. You may not infer a gigantic conspiracy around hearsay. Stuart Ravn (talk) 03:55, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Credit to Linda for exposing the Animal Mutilations. Her work was said to have been funded by Robert Bigelow. The attack on animals has been exposed by Linda as needlessly cruel and serving no known logical scientific purpose. If people actually read Linda's studies on the subject they could only agree that whoever is butchering animals in such a manner are not human, not just 'inhuman' . 188.29.215.47 (talk) 23:52, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Conversation

I met and had a conversation with her. She tried to make the point that the incredible similarity between descriptions of aliens in alien abduction cases pointed toward the accounts credibility. To establish this, she pointed at all the pictures in a book she was hawking. I pointed out that all of the pictures were drawn by the same artists. She had nothing to say. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.28.252.97 (talk) 11:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

What is the point of this comment? There is no way to validate this conversation with Linda. Bostonlad (talk) 23:34, 30 September 2012 (UTC) Bostonlad

No photo>

I note there's no photo. Seems odd. No matter. To add a photo is beyond my ken, my means, or temporarilly beyond my patience. Below is the 1st page of photo's of Mizz Howe on gooogle image (the photo's that actually show her, and which I could access the info for). Please let me know whether this was helpful.

Considering that none of the referenced images meets wikipedia guidelines for usability, and that four of them aren't even accessible, I'd say this was not helpful. Here's the tute you need WP:PIC --El Ingles (talk) 13:58, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
