CIA base, not USAF
[edit]All the Lima Sites/Strips in Laos were created by the CIA for the use of Air America and Continental Air Service pilots. These were not Air Force installations, although they could be used daily by USAF helicopters with no overnight stays.Georgejdorner (talk) 00:14, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- That's debatable, Tilford says it was used as a USAF forward rescue site and the USAF later set up a TACAN site there. Mztourist (talk) 10:38, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
