Trivia tag in Sister Cities section

[edit]

I am removing the Trivia section tag from the Sister Cities section, as it doesn't make sense. I have seen plenty of other articles about localities that have this section and do not feel it is "trivia". To be honest it is relevant information to the article, and deserves to have its own section.

I saw the tag was added two years ago by a member that has been permanently banned from the English Wikipedia (please see edit history and this Administrators Noticeboard entry). While I have not read much into why he was banned, it seems he was committing lots of harmful and vandal-like actions.

Based upon the information presented above, I feel the trivia section tag was added either as a misunderstanding, or with harmful intent. If there are any objections to this, please comment here and tag me so I will get a notice of new comments. Thanks! --Willy No1lakersfan (Talk - Edits) 23:52, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people list only

[edit]

If you look at many major cities or towns with enormous lists of NP such as this one, it is often much better/cleaner/easier-on-the-eyes to remove the presentation of the list in a bulleted format on the page, and to have it linked to the list separately. We already link to the NP list here, but for some reason also have a NP list bulleted out on this page. I would like to move the bulleted list here and just have the linked list separately, but just wanted "consensus" first. Thank you. Th78blue (talk) 03:13, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
