Does anyone have any photos of the ruins? I'm out of town for the next month so I can't take one but I think it would improve the article. JacobJHWard (talk) 00:21, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Dorset House
[edit]The article placed Dorset House, the Sackville building, on the "Lords Place" part of the Priory. This is incorrect. I suspect that it was due to a misreading of the Mark Antony Lower account available here which is a bit ambiguous. However, Dorset House was actually in London near Fleet Street. Dorset house was burnt down during the great fire of London and never rebuilt. I have therefore removed reference to Dorset House from the article. Wilfridselsey (talk) 17:48, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
Note 7.
[edit]The article cited in Note 7 is actually Excavations at Lewes Friary 1985-6 and 1988-9, an entirely different establishment half a mile away.QuestingVole (talk) 10:30, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
