Two mistakes (?)
[edit]Hello all,
I believe there are two factual errors in the second paragraph. Assuming reference is made to the national matches held from 1873 to 1908 in the Netherlands; then the factual arrors would be: "he took 2nd at The Hague 1878 (A. Polak Daniels won)" - The match was in Amsterdam and won by Maarten van 't Kruys. Benima was not amongst the top three. Source: Yearbook ("jaarboekje 1878") of Dutch Chess Federation "took 3rd at Groningen 1896 (A. van Foreest won)" - The match was in Leiden and won by Dirk Bleijkmans, Benima was not amongst the top three.
