Spam -- Accommodation section
[edit]I am removing this section as it is simply an outbound link for a local guest house. It contains zero encyclopedic content. --Glubbdrubb (talk) 12:54, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
New data needed
[edit]Can anybody provide population stats for this town? --Glubbdrubb (talk) 12:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
It's difficult because it depends on what you refer to as the "town". Does that include some of its neighboring townships (like Pretoria includes Atteridgeville) or does it include far away suburbs (like Durban includes Pinetown)?
The municipality published a water report which stated the greater Waterburg area was 120,000 people. If I remember right it was including from Ga Seleka all the way to Modimole. There are a lot of informal settlements that make a full population accounting difficult. Anecdotally people talked about Lephalale itself having a population of about 20,000 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.88.109.64 (talk) 01:03, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
Is sourveld a typo or a real word?
[edit]The Wikipedia:Typo Team/moss spell checker has found a possible typo that a copyeditor needs help to resolve. If sourveld is misspelled, it can just be corrected in this article. If sourveld is a legitimate word, it should be added to the English Wiktionary (which defines words in all languages) with a definition at wikt:sourveld. Feel free to leave a note in this section if you do one of those things, or if you can provide any hints about this word. Thanks! -- Elfabet (talk) 13:08, 12 April 2019 (UTC)
Mall Image
[edit]I've been reverted for reverting the inclusion, therefore, to prevent escalating to an edit war, I'm bringing the conversation here. @Caracal Rooikat: @WereSpielChequers:
The image in question is out of focus, does not have a clear subject, and its inclusion (with or without that caption) does NOT "increase readers' understanding of the article's subject matter".[1] Finally, there is no article text relating it to the town or explaining its significance. It should not be used. Please make your counter arguements, and if we're still at an impasse, we should take this to a larger forum. Thanks, Elfabet (talk) 12:14, 16 July 2019 (UTC)
