He had the ship positioned within view of the landing of the Apollo capsule, and they literally wrote the book for future recovery efforts. Overall: Looks mostly solid. It's a bit dependent on his obituary and sections of his early life feel getting close to being a close paraphrase of it, although I realise no extra source is available on this period I've added extra citation positions to make clear the ultimate source of all the text.
