Restoration of redirect
[edit]Why has this article been restored? I really don't see anything to justify Miss Pinnock having her own separate article – the two lines about her personal life are covered in the Little Mix article, and the majority of the text is related to the band, not her (and is also covered by the same article). The only line about Miss Pinnock personally is the one about her fashion blog, but that isn't enough to make her notable outside of the group, and could quite easily be included within the Little Mix article. Double page created
[edit]Ever since that this article has been redirected back to Little Mix, someone has created another article that looks similar called "Leigh-Anne Pinnock (singer)" and I had requested speedy deletion per WP:A10. What does anyone think about this? Should it be deleted or be redirected back to Little Mix. Please feel free to share your opinion. Thank you. Raritydash (talk) 18:10, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- It was redirected, but I've now merged the two histories and got rid of the redirect with the disambiguator, as that will never be needed and as a search term it's implausible - if you want Leigh-Anne Pinnock you would type in "Leigh-Anne Pinnock". anemoneprojectors 10:10, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

Moving to "Leigh-Anne"
[edit]Since making music as a solo artist, she has been going by just "Leigh-Anne" (examples: 1 2 3 4) and the Don't Say Love article also calls her Leigh-Anne only. Just not sure if it's "too soon" or not to be moved? -- NotCharizard 🗨 09:46, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- I think it’s definitely too soon to be moved. The main issue is that a lot of reliable sources still continue to refer to her with her surname (ex: 1 2 3 4). It remains to be seen whether she is, or will become, well-known or notable solely as "Leigh-Anne", hence why the article has her full name and the lede says "also known as" rather than "professionally" or "mononymously" known as. Songs should probably use her artist name, but I think it makes more sense to keep full name on main article with an acknowledgment of the artist name.
