Rock Raiders
[edit]LEGO has been revisiting old themes for quite some time now: Mars Mission was inspired by Life on Mars, Agents is Alpha Team, Power Miners is Rock Raiders, and even BIONICLE was inspired by the older Slizer/Throwbots theme.
Yes, it's true that these aren't exactly reboots, but you cannot honestly say they weren't inspired by the older themes, there are way too many similarities for it to be a coincidence. I say the link to the Rock Raiders article, and the mentioning of Rock Raiders should remain. Would it be okay if I just left out the word "reboot"? -- PrimisTalk||Edits 19:40, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
as a long-time follower, i must agree here; the revisitation goes far further back than even the ones mentioned earlier, with dark forest (forestmen), space port (launch command), knight's kingdom (classic castle), and numerous other themes (namely town/fire/rescue) being reinvented every so often, as base themes, or with newer elaborations. while it wouldn't make much sense to list all of these on the timeline, i would think it would certainly be all right on the individual theme pages. i would reinsert/keep references to previous sets. Boulder Blaster
[edit]I added the Boulder Blaster to the list. I know it is real because I saw it in an official Lego 2009 catalogue.Maddogfilms (talk) 06:56, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Lego set release year
[edit]Regarding to Lego product release year, is base on Copyright year. You will find the information on bottom of the set box. It is not when the new product/theme is sold online or in stores. Since each market region or country around the world is different. Just because someone got the product a month or two before the release year. It doesn't mean the product is that product year. For example, a 2009 Lego set found in late 2008, is not a 2008 set. GoTLG (talk) 20:46, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

The five types of rock monsters
[edit]The first plot paragraph says that "Brains" discovered five type of rock monsters, yet only mentions four. I'm not an expert on the Power Miners theme, but I think the rock monster that wasn't mentioned was Boulderax, the dark green one. The Eccentric Fopdoodle (talk) 20:03, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
Lava Lord and "Magama Monster"
[edit]What's this about a Lava Lord that is a King Firax and included in the not-yet-released set "Magama Monster"? There is no word whatsoever on any other website about this. It did not appear in Toyfair, there are no leaked images of the set, etc. Besides, why would it be called "Magama Monster" and not "Magma Monster"? I seriously doubt this set or Lava Lord exists.
The closest thing that matches the description is the orange Crystal King that appears in Clutch Powers, which fits the "king version of the Firax and Eruptorr" part. However, this Crystal King appears to be a Rock Monster, not a Lava Monster (Clutch even refers to the beast as a Rock Monster), and as it is just a slightly-recolored version of the Crystal King set, I doubt it will be released as a "Magama Monster" set. In addition, the whole description seems like conjecture, about Lava Monsters competing against Rock Monsters to conquer the LEGO Planet.
I guess the best thing to say is "citation needed". Otherwise, I'll probably delete that section. --PeabodySam (talk) 22:08, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]You have Crystal King to command the Rock Monsters so they make Lava Lord for the king of the Lava Monsters. Plus Power Miners have taken a Pause till Jan 2011. --Alec Mason (talk) 14:18, 22 August 2010
Rumors
[edit]At the bottom of the "plot" section, there are some unconfirmed rumors. Should they be removed from the article? 74.98.210.228 (talk) 12:19, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Source for 2011
[edit]Source for all the 2011 stuff? 78.149.237.1 (talk) 10:16, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
This is a good point, I sent a message to The Lego Group who have confirmed that the Power Miners are to continue into next year but no Movie. This is the orignal e-mail sent:
Thanks for writing to us. I am happy to hear that you are such a big fan of LEGO® Power Miners! I especially love the little rock monsters. We are still making Power Miners sets and expect to have new items next year as far as I know. Unfortunately we have not made a Power Miners movie and do not have any plans to make one. I hope that answers your questions *****. Happy building!
I know it's not a good source but this is the best confirmation it can be put to --Legodoctor05 00:01, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Repetition
[edit]Who thinks this article needs a bit of clearing up? As I was reading the Characters section, there was way too much information and sometimes it would get repeated mentioning this monster and that monster. Could it be alright to add a future section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Legodoctor05 (talk • contribs) 23:12, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Lava Lord...
[edit]... does not belong on this page. Although Power Miners is far from my favorite LEGO line, I admittedly have been following its story, learning its characters, checking updates on its website... and there is nothing to confirm Lava Lord's existence. Therefore, he's speculation. Or, perhaps, he's leaked 2011 info... I don't know! But either way, he does not have a place on this page! --PeabodySam (talk) 10:22, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
