Request
[edit]CambridgeBayWeather I request to move Lego Jack Stone (theme) to Lego Jack Stone without leaving a redirect: unnecessary disambiguation. Striker2020 (talk) 07:36, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Cleanup needed
[edit]This article could use a lot of cleanup. Twice it says this theme was designed for "children aged 4+ or above" although "+" already indicates "or more". Twice it says there were 25 Jack Stone sets, once it says there were 11 Jack Stone sets, but exactly 22 sets are listed. The article also implies that a Jack Stone short film was made for YouTube in 2014 and then released on VHS -- yet by 2014, there were no more VHS cassettes being released except for limited promotional purposes. (More likely the film was released on VHS in 2001 and uploaded to YouTube in 2014.) There is not a lot of prose in this article and what there is seems to all get repeated. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:03, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- Striker2020 Further to improving this page: 1) correct the set count e.g. check the source and add the missing sets that are listed there. 2) The web short needs better sourcing or should be removed. The YouTube source links to a personal channel not the official Lego channel. The date you have given of 2014 is incorrect. It is actually the date the person uploaded it onto YouTube not the original release date. If you can start by correcting these issues then perhaps you can find other sources to improve this page. Hope that helps. Fieryninja (talk) 18:25, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- Fieryninja I checked the official Lego channel but I cannot find the Jack Stone web short. So I have to removed the unreliable YouTube source. Striker2020 (talk) 06:47, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Fieryninja I forgot to tell you that I add another 3 missing sets of Jack Stone was released in Japan only that should be total 25 sets. Striker2020 (talk) 07:06, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- Striker2020 Just a minor point - you should put IN a year e.g. in 2022, or ON a date e.g. on 17 February 2022. I noticed there were variations in the content. Fieryninja (talk) 07:32, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
