The Congress of Mother-in-LawsThe Congress of Mothers-in-Law – There is no reliable source indicating the validity of the current title. The title of the film is, of course, Le congrès des belles-mères, and the correct plural of "mother-in-law" in English is "mothers-in-law" - see the parent-in-law article. • Move to Le Congrès des belles-mères per MOS:FRENCHCAPS, absent WP:COMMONNAME evidence of an English name. Nardog (talk) 03:38, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move to Le Congrès des belles-mères per above comments. A Google search for "The Congress of Mothers-in-Law" turns up only three hits, one of which is this Talk page discussion and another being the main article despite being titled "…Mother-in-Laws". I get a few pages of hits searching the "…Mother-in-Laws" variant but it's not clear that any of them are reliable. I find zero hits for either on Ngram although I'm not sure I'm doing the capital letters and dashes correctly. I'm equally pained by the ghastly plural form chosen for the current article title but more importantly, with no significant English language coverage in reliable sources, the original French title should be used.--MYCETEAE 🍄‍🟫—talk 02:51, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
