The Queensland Park and Wildlife Services (QPWS) state that Kahlpahlim Rock is Lambs Head[1], however QTopo has only one trail (plus another trail called "Varch Creek Trail" that is not even mentioned on the parks website or maps[2][3]) and shows two summits; Kahlpahlim Rock at 1309m and and Lambs Head at 1314m[4]. If Lambs Head is higher, then why does parks website state that "Kahlpahlim Rock is the highest point on the Lamb Range"[1].
When zooming in on QLDGlobe (aerial imagery), you can see that Lambs Head summit marking on QTopo (-17.02297,145.64091) is a manmade building structure.[5] That being said, Kahlpahlim Rock (-17.02297,145.64091) also has a manman building structure. QTopo shows the trail going to Kahlpahlim Rock though and not Lambs Head.[4]
Question: Are Kahlpahlim Rock and Lambs Head two seperate summits? If so, why does QPWS have them as the same? If not, why does QGlobe/QTopo have them as different and what is the actual height of the peak?
False claim?
[edit]Article states that this is a mountain. Really? Is it just a rocky feature on a mountain? duffbeerforme (talk) 13:38, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
