Replace paragraphs 3 and 4 with this information:
Since 1996 Odom dated Liza Morales, his high school sweetheart. They meet in 1996, their junior year at Christ The King Regional High School in New York [1]. Together they have had three children, Destiny (1998), Lamar Jr. (2002)[2], and Jayden (born December 15, 2005)[3]. On 29 June 2006, Odom's 6½-month-old infant son Jayden died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York [4][5]. After the death of Jayden the couple split up in 2007[6].
Odom met reality television personality Khloé Kardashian August 27, 2009 at Ron Artest's Halo Hollywood Party [7]. Just one month later in September 2009 they became engaged. Odom and Kardashian were married on Sunday, 27 September 2009 [8][9] in order for E! television to film the wedding. Their wedding was featured on the E! reality-based series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, on which Khloé is a regular, with Odom appearing in a handful of episodes. On December 29, 2010, E! announced that it is planning another spinoff from the series featuring the couple[10] and Odom's two children from his previous relationship[citation needed]. Issues
The citation given for the date of Odom's wedding does not contain the date. Here's a link to a site that does: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20308442,00.html And the opening sentence has a WP:DATED violation. We cannot say "currently." -- 207.237.230.157 (talk) 20:29, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
It does not say that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with his baby- on the bottom of this link it says she is http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/06/02/pop-diva-mariah-carey-pregnant-report/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by JewUnit93 (talk • contribs) 03:20, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
This issue is concerning the relevance of Lamar Odom's continued endorsement of Power Balance bracelets. He has stated that he always wears it, and believes that it gives him an edge on the court. Not only does he endorse it, he is a spokesman for the product. He was interviewed by Olympic Gymnast Dominica Dawes, and Yahoo Weekend News for the Power Balance Bracelet. Power Balance is beginning to be reported often in the news but does not (yet?) deserve a Wikipedia page on its own. So the issue is timely. The citation is listed under Personal items though it clearly concerns his career in sports as well has his private life as a product endorser. I do not understand how an editor can say leaving his visit to a wedding, appearing briefly in a Taco Bell commercial and liking candy so much that Wrigley made him a special statue is more relevant to Wikipedia's readers? The video and interview I cite uses him as the sports spokesman for the product. I state only the facts (per Wikipedia policy) in the edit. I'm respectfully arguing that the citation be used as it is timely, and relevant for the long term. SGerbic (talk) 22:10, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
- There are several other facts in the article that could probably be removed. I wouldn't care if you removed the trivia about his fondness for candy. But let's just focus on the Power Balance issue. If, as you say, the bracelet does not even deserve its own Wikipedia article, then I don't think we need to spend a whole paragraph talking about it here. Maybe if someone takes legal action against Odom, it would be worth mentioning, but otherwise, I just think it's an awkward digression. Zagalejo^^^ 04:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- Just dusting off the citation I made in November 2010. Now that Odom is being sued AND Power Balance has its own Wikipedia page AND its own stadium, my original edit is more than relevant. Sgerbic (talk) 03:36, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Since Odom was not the driver, WP:NOTNEWS seems applicable and will not be significant years if not weeks or days from now. —Bagumba (talk) 01:57, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
- Concur. It is unfortunate that someone died, but this accident is not notable as far as Odom is concerned.—Chris!c/t 02:00, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
link to Lakers in infobox
With all due respect to WP:OVERLINK, a link to Los Angeles Lakers would be helpful in the "Career history" section in the infobox for those (most?) that do not read captions in pictures.—Bagumba (talk) 20:32, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- Completely agree. Kante4 (talk) 20:39, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
- Um, with all due respect, we follow Wikipedia rules. Shall we take this to the admins and see what they say? KING GRIM LOL YO WHATS UP (talk) 02:19, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
- Seriously? It's not like we're linking to something three times in the same sentence. There's plenty of space between the two links. (WP:OVERLINK is not a policy, anyway.) Zagalejo^^^ 03:10, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

- There seems to be a WP:CONSENSUS here, even if you do not agree with it. Again, I dont think WP:OVERLINK applies here. Even if it did, there is WP:IAR which allows exceptions where they make sense per consensus. The link is helpful for readers that didnt see the caption. Can you discuss what is the harm?—Bagumba (talk) 03:44, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

On the previous edit request, could you put the information sited under a new category called "Arrest Record" either under the "Personal Life" or "College" sections.

- Not done - as far as I'm aware, he only has the prostitution charge, so it doesn't make sense to have a whole section about a single arrest. We can just roll it into the text. --Mosmof (talk) 22:01, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

Please add to the text of "Personal Life" and/or "College" section, that Lamar Odom was arrested for soliciting a undercover police officer for prostitution in 1997, and this arrest contributed to him being kicked out of college in Las Vegas, Nevada.

- Done Jockbio gets the chronology wrong (he'd already been released at the time of the arrest), but given that it was a citation and he apparently didn't do any jail time, I kept it brief. 22:14, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Pending story
Dear Editors,
Just so you know, there are some strange allegations of Lamar Odom being addicted to crack cocaine and being missing for several days (As seen on SI, TMZ, yahoo, etc.). I just saw some other reports (from ESPN) that quote his agent saying he is NOT missing and did not confirm a drug addiction. I was going to include that he was "missing" until I saw the ESPN report, so I think the information is still unclear at the moment and we should wait to make any edits until there is a reliable story and plenty of confirmations. Wisdomthatiswoe (talk) 18:55, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- You are absolutely correct. The relevant Wikipedia policy is WP:BLP. TMZ is a tabloid and is not considered a reliable source.—Chris!c/t 23:11, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
Here is a more recent source that does not mention TMZ. I think it should be mentioned in the article that he atleast is having problems and was considered missing.

- Thank you for the input, I came across this article little while ago. To be frank, it sounds like regurgitated information from tmz and espn -- still no real news. Hopefully something evolves from these here-say like articles in the next couple days, but until then I still think we should avoid adding it. Wisdomthatiswoe (talk) 15:55, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
Now he was arrested for drunk driving, and it mentions the prior rehab stint.

Odom and Crack
The thing about all this talk about crack and so on is that it has been almost exclusivly in TMZ and simular "gossip" rags (like Radar Online, and so on), but nothing in the "mainstream" media. TMZ and Radar Online are not reliable sources, and one has to wonder why no "legit" source has picked up the story? Perhaps it's not really a story... =//= Johnny Squeaky 02:20, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
