I wonder...

[edit]

Regarding your comment here, if I see the phrase "Please help me to understand" a few more times, I just might scream. It is used so often, and so repetitively even when the requested help has been provided, I am beginning to suspect it is an AI-generated trope. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 16:27, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Now Now JoJo take a deep breath. I often have trouble navigating the "rules" of Wikipedia. Oddly I only rarely hear that trope. Of course now that we are talking about it, I will see it everywhere. ;-) Sgerbic (talk) 16:42, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, I don't need to breathe. And I still fear that "Please help me to understand" is becoming the new "Where's the beef?" JoJo Anthrax (talk) 16:58, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well that explains a lot! Sgerbic (talk) 17:10, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May or may not be of interest to you since you were involved in the discussion: single purpose editor on repressed memory has opened a dispute. Cheers. Zenomonoz (talk) 23:12, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An unfortunate choice by NpsychC. I'm afraid the WP:IDHT is so strong here that, despite the good advice they have received (I'm thinking of this), it will not end well for them. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 03:40, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What a silly question, human.

[edit]

Regarding this, of course your birthday qualifies for that list. What a silly human person you are! And the article's main contributor will certainly receive a notification/alert from your message. I'm prepared to submit it to AfD, but perhaps their (or others') responses will convince me otherwise. JoJo Anthrax (talk) 19:46, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well if anything UFO related can go on that list, I better put aside some time, because I can triple the size of the list just from pulling off my bookshelf and that isn't even including my birthday. Sgerbic (talk) 20:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:22, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
