Lake Facts

[edit]

I've seen two sources that indicate different max depths of the lake. The City of Orlando indicates that the max depth is 28 feet while an article in the Orlando Sentinel states that there is a sinkhole north of the fountain that is 80 feet deep. It has to be one or the other. Aswilliams (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:05, 7 March 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Summerlin Park

[edit]

This article was originally entitled Summerlin Park. I see no references to this name being used, and signage at the park and references to the park on city and county webpages refer to the park surrounding Lake Eola as Lake Eola Park. I welcome any veriable documentation that shows this park is or once was referred to as Summerlin Park so that such information may be incorporated into the article. The park may have indeed been orginially referred to as Summerlin park as Jacob Summerlin donated all of the land and stipulated that it be turned into a park. Frank0051 (talk) 20:50, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
