Bel-Air, Florida

[edit]

Hello, and thanks for your note on my talk page about Bel-Air, Florida. I would certainly encourage you to press forward with the Articles for Deletion route, if you feel the place doesn't exist or is not notable. I felt the evidence was such that a proposed deletion without discussion was not justified, but it may well get tossed out after discussion and consensus. --MelanieN (talk) 02:15, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Federal Reserve Directors updating thanks

[edit]

Thanks for updating the Federal Reserve directors of the various branches.Smallman12q (talk) 23:40, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I plan to go through all the Reserve Banks and branches throughout the next couple of days and do updates where needed. Thanks for noticing. Frank0051 (talk) 02:45, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not all of the branches have articles yet...I made them when I had first joined wikipedia. You can see some of the missing branches at Federal_Reserve_Branches...they're red links. You're always welcome to create the articles=D. Also...I should take off the "office" part of the name...Smallman12q (talk) 11:49, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've also made added the branches to the template: {{Federal Reserve Banks}} so it looks like

Hope this will help.Smallman12q (talk) 12:19, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Florida House of Representatives

[edit]

Actually there's an edit button on the top left hand corner, I should also let you know your edit was reversed because Oscar Braynon resigned his seat to run for Frederica Wilson's vacant Florida Senate Seat.--Jack Cox (talk) 17:44, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I was going by the Florida House webpage (http://www.flhouse.gov/Sections/Representatives/representatives.aspx). I know about the edit button, haha. But, it isn't just he most user friendly type of thing, especially when you get into long lists and whatnot. Oh well, I guess that's just how Wikipedia is. Your addition to Nathan Mayo has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. It is not copyrighted, see Copyright status of work by the Florida government. Frank0051 (talk) 19:53, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There appears to be an exemption in Florida statutes for university products. See the Copyright policy of UF and the Copyright statement for the Smathers Library which states "The contents of this web site are the property of the University of Florida and may not be included in any publications (printed or online) without the written permission of the libraries." IANAL, so if you wish to peruse this you might want to consult the Wikimedia General Counsel. Gamaliel (talk) 19:58, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, well this is new. Let me poke around, I will get back to you on your talk page. Frank0051 (talk) 20:02, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oviedo Florida DYK

[edit]

Hi, I checked this nomination and had to rule it out. Entries for "Did You Know" are limited to articles that have been created from scratch within the last five days, or where the prose portion has been expanded fivefold or more within the last five days. There are more rules at Wikipedia:Did you know#DYK rules, but these two are the main ones. Unfortunately, an interesting fact like the one you found does not qualify. Hi Frank, I've reviewed your nomination at Template:Did you know nominations/Master Legend and I have several issues. Could you please take a look at my comments and reply there? Thanks. Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:47, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Master Legend Headshot.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Master Legend Headshot.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 05:50, 13 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Master Legend has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable person

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File source problem with File:Proctor photo 1.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Proctor photo 1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wikiacc () 20:12, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
