[edit]Above OTRS Template needs OTRS number. Kathleen.wright5 00:00, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- To get an OTRS number they need to email OTRS and give the appropriate permission, once OTRS has that, they will post the info and number here. KnightLago (talk) 03:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I acquired the licence for entering the texts in "http://www.supertarot.co.uk/adept/fharris.htm" under the Entry: "Lady Frieda Harris".
This is the e-mail of author of SuperTarot.co.uk to me:
<phb@supertarot.co.uk> to me Date: Sep 4, 2005 1:54 PM Subject: Re: supertarot email
Hi Sepand,
You are very welcome to link to the Frieda Harris page.
I am very pleased to be of service.
And enter the contents of the page with a link as you suggest.
Best wishes,
Paul Hughes-Barlow

- Unfortunately, this looks like a situation where permission may well have been granted, but proceedures have not been followed. Although Sepand quotes permission, we have no way to verify that he/she actually recieved this email (we should assume good faith and believe that he/she did... but we do need confirmation). Could someone please contact Mr. Hughes-Barlow and have him confirm his intent by emailing OTRS. Blueboar (talk) 15:43, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- In this encyclopedia, we generally have to rely on good faith. Assume that another person tries to verify this. How can we verify him?! --Sepand (talk) 05:43, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Just lowered the quality rating to Start class - there is no way there is even close to B class. I've started cleaning it up now, and with the addition of some decent references this could go back up to class C I think. --Rodneyorpheus (talk) 12:20, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Tone warning
[edit]The 'inappropriate tone' sign seems harsh, I know, but all it means is that we need a rewrite to 3rd-person text. There are also some POV issues. I would rewrite it myself but I don't have the time or the authority. 216.39.182.234 20:40, 30 October 2005 (UTC) You certainly have the authority (anyone can edit)... so that just leaves you with having to find the time. Blueboar (talk) 01:00, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I took "the authority" to mean that the user did not feel himself/herself to be an authority on the subject, and hence not in a good position to rewrite it, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, an authoritative person should definitely rewrite the thing. The opening paragraph is especially marred by subtle pov; main problem for me is its tone of treating Crowley's system as if it could be taken as definitely "true in the real world" for want of a better phrase, rather than as his personal mythology. "Crowley had to initiate her into his Orders to expand her knowledge and commence the spiritual training necessary to design a deck of such power. By his own admission, the deck was intended to be traditional, but she encouraged him to commit his occult, magical, spiritual and scientific knowledge to the project." A deck of "such power"? What power? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.229.62.47 (talk) 02:11, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Date of death
[edit]On 13 April 2016, User:24.198.125.126 altered the date of death, writing in the edit summary "1962 UK Probate: Harris, Lady Frieda Marguerite otherwise Marguerite Frieda, care of Westminster Bank Limited, 63 Piccadilly, London W.1, and of The Studio, Southlands, Tandridge, Oxted, Surrey, and of Srinagar, India, widow, died 05 November 1962 at Sri ...".
I do not have immediate access to that source and an internet search showed support for the original date of 11 May so I have reverted the edits for now. Nedrutland (talk) 08:28, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
