Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it was intended to be like other Wikipedia pages on NGOs, such as the A21 Campaign and Tearfund, which have not been deleted. I have created it as a class assignment and will work to improve the article where I can. I do not work for Nvader and am not otherwise connected to them. --DeborahJ 0524 (talk) 03:32, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... it has been created as part of a course assignment. The assignment is still ongoing and the student will receive feedback on what needs to be done to improve the page, in particular by making it less promotional about the founding of Nvader and more about Nvader's work in combatting human trafficking. This work is to be done by 3 June, so if the page could remain on line until then to enable the student (and other Wikipedia editors) to make improvements to it, that would be appreciated. --Humanrights4nz (talk) 08:35, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it appears to meet WP:GNG due to the independent media coverage that the organisation has received. Schwede66 04:43, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

March 2017 copy editors guild backlog cleanup drive

[edit]

This article was flagged for copy editing cleanup in May 2016. I'm editing the article for that reason and can see several issues that I'll be addressing: Numerous non-RS sources, repeated citations, citations which do not properly back up the claims being made, and promotional tone. I'll circle back here with updates along the way and once the work is done. Thanks, Curdigirl (talk) 04:46, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removed any statement referencing only a primary or non-RS source such as Nvader.org or Facebook.com there were numerous paragraphs which had sources, but only these two. Some remaining statements are sourcing Nvader.org plus another source; I haven't fact checked these yet. Fact checking will reveal whether the claim is properly sourced and then it can be copy-edited as needed to be properly sourced and the Nvader.org citation (primary, so non RS source) removed. I'll finish that before the EOM for the Copy Editors Guild March Backlog cleanup. Thanks, Curdigirl (talk) 05:59, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
