Article improvements
[edit]I will try to do this work, but additional participation would be helpful:
- Complete searches using "Martin Griffin" and "Marty Griffin" instead of full name
- Add additional refs from sources other than Marin Independent Journal--search sfgate directly
- Add info regarding elective office held
- Find PD photo if possible
- Improve infobox (drop "Genres"?)
- Consider move to common name ("Martin"? or "Marty Griffin"?)

- Good suggestions. The alternative to an article name change would be a redirect or two, which might be easier. Another source would the Pacific Sun newspaper as well as the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat, seeing as Griffin lived in Sonoma County for many years and was active there. - User:Hjal, I have added a 'not to be confused with' to an article on a 'Marty Griffin' who had a very short and unsuccessful major league baseball career. That article is a brief stub, and I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to just rename it with an additional (baseball player) so as to take over the commonly used 'Marty Griffin' for this article. The matter is complicated by a journalist with that name as well, however. Jusdafax 09:54, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- ”Marty Griffin” listing - Done My thanks to those helping make this change possible. Jusdafax (talk) 00:36, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
