- Oppose. Most of the articles titles for Vietnamese monarchs on Wiki are without diacritics. Other encyclopedias don't generally use them, and neither do the overview histories of Vietnam. These are models we are supposed to be following, per WP:USEENGLISH. They don't mention this subject specifically, although Viet Nam News does. Kauffner (talk) 16:17, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

- Support strongly for procedural reasons noted in the nomination. Also support on the merits. We use diacritics on titles dealing with other countries; why single out Vietnam for dumbing down? — AjaxSmack 03:50, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
