In editing the article, I found the following comment regarding the 1882 Théâtre du Château debut in Sardanapale. Since the comment didn't belong in the article but may be raising a legitimate point, I've moved it here (and corrected its spelling of Liège): " (Quite incredible as the work was premiered in 1892 in Liège, Belgium) ".
