This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is organized by the Institute of African Studies in the University of Ghana in honor of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah who was the first president of Ghana. It is a festival and not an advertisement to promote a product, company, group, service or any person. Kwame Nkrumah is a notable person hence the festival to commemorates the good works he did for Ghana and Africa as a whole. Festivals are aimed at ‘taking stock’ of knowledge base with respect to social, political, and cultural developments in African countries, directing a special focus on the place and role of African countries in the international arena. This article is an effort to improve the coverage of Festivals in Ghana on Wikipedia. I think this article should not be deleted. Thanks --daSupremo [talk] 22:30, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep: This article was written not to promote the festival, ideally the article is to tell a story and it's celebration of the works of Nkrumah. Kindly keep this article because it verifiable, notable and its not for promotional purposes.Thanks,Jwale2 (talk) 22:58, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
