I cannot understand why the German terms Kunstmuseum and Kunstverein were merged in English-WP from the beginning - for every German speaking art historian it is absolutely clear that Museum and Verein are separated by history. Therefore, please reconsider your personal point of view, before taking it as general knowledge. --rpd (talk) 22:08, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are right, the terms are quite unrelated, a Kunstverein is an organization, a group of people, that can run a gallery or museum or whatever (E-Kartoffel (talk) 18:16, 28 May 2012 (UTC))[reply]
To solve the problem I changed the page into a Disambiguation page that defines the term and has is its own content, and also created seperate pages on Kunstmuseum and Kunsthalle, so that someone searching for this stuff can A) find it and B) tell the difference. -- Ultracobalt (talk) 22:48, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
