Did you know Spongebob is the actual owner
[edit]During the events of season 2 Mr krabs traded the krusty krab for the Pretty Pattie business that was owned by SpongeBob which has never been undone or confirmed to 2407:7000:98E2:8D03:F1DA:EABA:581B:E28C (talk) 22:11, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
Peer Review
[edit]The following suggestions were generated by a semi-automatic javascript program, and might not be applicable for the article in question.
- Please expand the lead to conform with guidelines at Wikipedia:Lead. The article should have an appropriate number of paragraphs as is shown on WP:LEAD, and should adequately summarize the article.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Context and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates), months and days of the week generally should not be linked. Years, decades, and centuries can be linked if they provide context for the article.[?]
- Per Wikipedia:Context and Wikipedia:Build the web, years with full dates should be linked; for example, link January 15, 2006.[?]
- Avoid using contractions like: doesn't, doesn't, don't, can't.
- Please ensure that the article has gone through a thorough copyediting so that it exemplifies some of Wikipedia's best work. See also User:Tony1/How to satisfy Criterion 1a.[?]
You may wish to browse through User:AndyZ/Suggestions for further ideas. Thanks, -AMK152 (Talk • Contributions Leave message) 21:38, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Chum famine
[edit]Under "History," there's a sentence that reads:
In 1959, the Chum Famine occurred, which caused Krabs to stop giving breaks to his employees.
Now, I heard Mr. Krabs say that "No one's taken a break at the Krusty Krab since the chum famine of '59." Now, I'd think that the chum famine was the last exception he gave for a break; if there's an ongoing famine, how busy could your restaurant be? This is just my opinion...--The Ninth Bright Shiner 21:02, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Proposed Cleanup
[edit]I have proposed a massive cutting down of the Spongebob series of articles at the WikiProject talk page. No one responded, and since silence equals consensus, I shall be performing my proposal soon. I am leaving this notice on every page that would be affected, as to make sure enough people would be informed. If you have anything to add, feel free to do so. sbfw | talk 03:56, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:KKbulletinboard.jpg
[edit]Image:KKbulletinboard.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Years
[edit]I've never seen any reference to years in SpongeBob SquarePants, so where are these figures coming from? How do we know that Squidward's been working at the Krusty Krab since 1993? It doesn't make any sense, if you ask me...--The Ninth Bright Shiner 23:13, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
P.O.O.P
[edit]Does POOP need to be mentioned TWICE in Depictions? It says in the first paragraph of Depictions: " Employees follow a carefully orgainized code, which is known as "POOP:" People Order Our Patties."
And in the second paragraph: "In fact, there's even a POOP (People Order Our Patties) policy."

Krusty Krab survives article for deletion!
[edit]So, how are we going to improve this obviously important article. Can we do a "further reading" section with a link to the spongepedia? [1] The wika article is also much better than ours. [2] 84.106.26.81 (talk) 02:48, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

Proper name. The sign in the show has "The" on it. Unreal7 (talk) 01:08, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. Per WP:THE#General usage, "The" should only be included if a proper name is almost always used with a capitalized "The". This video, from the official Nickelodeon website, titled Krusty Krab Training Video, frequently uses "Krusty Krab" without "The". This Lego set is called "Krusty Krab Adventures" without "The". The video game SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab, and its official website does not always capitalize "the" either. I can cite more examples. AfD for Krabby Patty
[edit]Krabby Patty was determined to be a redirect for this article by Black Kite as this AFD: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Krabby_Patty. No improvements were made to the sources since that AFD. The page was simply changed back to the regular article space on 15 July 2019 by an anonymous ISP user. Please do not undo the redirect without discussion on this talk page. ---Steve Quinn (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:47, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

I would recommend removing the "but was shut down by 2019.[49]" source in the "imitations" section. The source is a YouTube video meant for entertainment, and it's filled with ads. It's just generally not a very good source, and it's a really unprofessional source. Majaura (talk) 01:01, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

In lede, change "real-life establishments" to "real-life restaurants", then add (notable) examples. 78.131.46.35 (talk) 16:30, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{Edit semi-protected}}
template. I don't think this is a great change, given that at least one of the examples given below isn't a restaurant. PianoDan (talk) 17:04, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
