Merge
[edit]Seems Akuse Dam is the same as Kpong. Akuse is just a closer village and the name is used at times. Kpong may just be the hydroplant. We can always merge and has an "also known as Akuse Dam" in the lead.--NortyNort (Holla) 19:19, 27 May 2015 (UTC) NortyNort
- well perhaps for the hydroelectric dam that is the same but there is also another dam at Kpong for water treatment and that is not covered too.Kpong water works--Rberchie (talk) 11:54, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- The Kpong water works are separate from this issue and I am not sure that they will be damming the river for them, "reservoir" can refer to a small one off the river. With some research, Akuse and Kpong Dams are the same but Kpong is the common name and that used by the Volta River Authority as well.--NortyNort (Holla) 17:34, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- I cannot find a single source that has both a Kpong and Akuse Dam. None of the references in the Akuse Dam article are clear about that either. With that, I have completed the merge.--NortyNort (Holla) 23:27, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
