Why "was"?
[edit]This article from yesterday says its under construction after almost going bankrupt last year. It should reopen this summer and could also produce electricity. Renata (talk) 19:59, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Doesn't "is the first" mean the same as "the only one"? Because there are also other geothermal stations in the Baltic Sea region (in Denmark) [1]. If one could argue that the Thisted belongs to the North Sea region, not to the Baltic Sea region, the Copenhagen station is certainly in the Baltic Sea region. I think that the first sentence should be reworded. Beagel (talk) 12:42, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK. Novickas (talk) 13:37, 10 May 2008 (UTC) Although can't find info on when the other plant or plants were built - safer to say was. Novickas (talk) 13:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- The plant in Thisted was built as demonstration plant in 1984 and in 1988 it was expanded to the present size. The Copenhagen plant was constructed in 2002-2004.[2] Beagel (talk) 15:46, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
