Fair use rationale for Image:Kiton.JPG
[edit]Image:Kiton.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:51, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Points to improve
[edit](January 2013) The entry now has 13 vaild references and has been divided into several headings, e.g. Suit lines, management, etc. A vast improvement. Hdwhatley (talk) 05:10, 25 January 2013 (UTC) — comment added by Hdwhatley (talk • contribs) 04:27, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
The current (May 2012) article does not meet the required Wikipedia quality.
When? / Where? applies to many statements:
- "makes about 20,000 suits" per year": it's been so for years? How about 1980, and after the Subprime mortgage crisis?
- "Two lines of suits": Before the introduction of CIPA 1960 in 2010, only one?
- "Paone inaugurated a school": when? does it still exist?
- The article seems mostly on US, but how about other countries? The prices? And lines of products?
Credibility of the statements and sources:
- "Italian News Digest" is too rarely cited. Better to replace with better known source.
- "K-50 for 50 hours": the two source, CNN and Robb Report, say the same thing. This information probably comes from Kiton itself, and both just repeat its claim. If so, this is a weasel word(see WP:WEASEL. The correct way to write is "According to Kiton, it takes 50 hours..."
Excessive information doesn't help. See WP:IINFO.
- Prices and #employees should be given only for typical value to describe the company. (You don't list each price of MacDonald's burgers. Only noteworthy events, if any.)
- "Only 50 suits per year": Wikipedia is not for ads.
