Bengal

[edit]

@PadFoot2008 as per my sources, Pratiharas ruled Bengals aswell, they were their vassals but loosely held

But point remains they were held. JingJongPascal (talk) 16:00, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bengal? Per what sources? And which dynasty? Palas? PadFoot (talk) 17:16, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Most of Bengal was their vassals

Also in List of largest empires,
It states that Kannauj was 1.0 km² during Harsha peak rule.
While that of Pratihara is same, but the sources seems dubious to me, but meanwhile , it would be right to add the size atleast during the rule of harsha JingJongPascal (talk) 09:00, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@JingJongPascal Do you know what are you writing?.ie.1.0km? Are you referring 1 million? Edasf«Talk» 15:59, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think anyone can understand what I am saying, obviously 1million km² JingJongPascal (talk) 16:46, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Tributaries of Harsha

Romila Thapar : Early India

Harsha included among his tribuatary rulers of Jalandhar (Punjab), Kashmir, Nepal and Valabhi.

@PadFoot2008,sorry for pinging multiple times but I am reading it currently and will be posting new info,

I currently see the map excludes Nepal and Kashmir? JingJongPascal (talk) 15:19, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Different authors mention different extents of the Harsha's realm. V.D. Mahajan nicely summarises it in his work. I've depicted the most commonly depicted extent. Even then, Valabhi is disputed among scholars. PadFoot (talk) 15:22, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please don't open multiple sections, one section is enough. PadFoot (talk) 15:23, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have added economy , feel free to contribute JingJongPascal (talk) 15:39, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
