The content 'Many Nigerians' hailed her
[edit]Newspaper sources saying 'Many Nigerians Hailed her' is not specific of the Nigerians. Notable individuals such as Simi and Adekunle Gold hailed already depicts the opinions of Nigerians already, so adding many Nigerians is in a promotion tone. Adding the content Many Nigerians is against the NPOV stance of wikipedia in which a 'weasel word' is being used. @Nnadigoodluck: Haylad (talk) 01:08, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Haylad, first, you said it was a puffery and now, a weasel word. I'll enjoin you to read WP:WEASEL thoroughly for a better understanding. Best, —Nnadigoodluck🇳🇬 01:22, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Nnadigoodluck, How does 'Many Nigerians' not reflect a weasel word? How is that not without bias? It is still the opinion of the Newspaper source that many Nigerians hailed her , when it has clearly stated 'Simi and Adekunle Gold has hailed her'. Also, it was mentioned in the article the other Nigerians that praised her efforts. My point is, the content 'many Nigerians' lacks accuracy of the true reflection of the Nigerians that hailed her. You should read the Expression that lacks precision' Section of the WP:WEASEL for better Understanding. Kindly do the needful. Haylad (talk) 01:33, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Haylad, per this discussion, I've adjusted the words used. Should be better now. Best, —Nnadigoodluck🇳🇬 01:47, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Nnadigoodluck, the content 'other Nigerians' is still an expression that lacks precision. Who are the other Nigerians that hailed her? Are they notable enough to be discussed on Wikipedia? If they are, add their names to the content with the appropriate reference(s). Kindly remove this generalisation. Best Haylad (talk) 01:55, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
- Haylad, it's okay, you've a nice point, will edit to remove it. But, please learn how to format your replies properly, so that you won't look like a newbie. Best, —Nnadigoodluck🇳🇬 02:01, 14 March 2020 (UTC)
