[edit]Removed this, but you may be interested to know: "Donations in Kellie's honor may be sent to the Kellie Waymire Scholarship Fund through the UC San Diego Foundation, 9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA 92093." Gabe 23:49, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
- Oh dear. 😥 I was so sorry to learn that Kellie had passed away. She lighted up every scene she was in. To lose someone like this so young… I'm sure many people are sad to see this page. – AndyFielding (talk) 07:51, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
That 70's Show
[edit]Wasn't she on that 70's show. I think she was fez's girlfriend and she ended up doing him and getting a hand print of his on her butt. Funny stuff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.88.96.110 (talk) 03:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Best known for...
[edit]As frequently happens in Biography articles someone has attempted to summarize what a person was best known for and someone else has tagged with a citation needed request. The request has not yet been resolved and it has been there since 2017.
- The attempted summary: "Two of her highest-profile roles were on Six Feet Under and on Star Trek: Enterprise."
- LATIMES leads with: appeared frequently on television series from “Friends” to “Six Feet Under”
- Dayton News says "likely was best known for her recurring role on Star Trek: Enterprise" and "as Emily on One Life to Live" after that they also mention Seinfeld, Ally McBeal, CSI and Six Feet Under
- USA Today (AP Story[1]) leads with "frequent appearances on such shows as Six Feet Under, Friends and Ally McBeal" and mentions Star Trek later
- Variety[2] mentions Six Feet Under first, list various shows, doesn't mention Star Trek at all
- CNN use the same AP story[https://web.archive.org/web/20080407085655/http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/23/obit.waymire.ap/index.html as USA Today but they also include an image with the caption: Kellie Waymire was best known for her appearances on television shows such as "Friends" and "Six Feet Under."
Using those five already included sources as a straw poll, there is no doubt that she was well known for her role in Six Feet Under. Friends seems to be the next most mentioned. Either Star Trek or Ally McBeal might take third place depending on how you look at it. On that basis, also following the principle of trying to make the most minimal change possible, I'm going keep Star Trek but add "Friends". Other editors might think the emphasis should be different, and I would suggest gathering more sources, but this should be more than enough to justify removing the citation needed request. -- 109.78.203.76 (talk) 00:47, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
