- Yeah, duh. I thought "tactical" flashlights were supposed to be really bright...from what I've read, Kel Lites were mostly "tactical" in the sense that you could hit people with them. From what I can piece together from non-authoritative forum posts, Kel Lites used the same old PR2 bulbs that regular flashlights used, but were mostly notable in that they would work when switched on, and were made strong enough to withstand actual use. There's a couple of flashlight collector books out there but sadly, Google Books has not put their contents out on the Web, so it's a dreary trek to the library. --Wtshymanski (talk) 17:32, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
