Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate listing
[edit]There is no reason we should have a partial filmmography listing that covers more than films we have articles on.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:52, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
- That's not completely accurate, and you mistake a film not having an article making it mean that film is not notable. Virtually every film you are deleting passes notability criteria. As per either WP:GNG or WP:NFILM. Also, these are not indiscriminate listings. These are very discriminate listings, supported by citations. And you state it's "general policy"... could you please link to the policy you are referring to? Other than that, this seems to be a case of WP:IDONTLIKEIT. - The word "indiscriminate" means "done at random or without careful judgment." This is wholly inapplicable to a filmography identifying films in which a particular actor has appeared. Indeed, such a carefully constructed list is the antithesis of "indiscriminate". Cbl62 (talk) 14:58, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
