Editor's notes (AMorozov), May-30-2009
[edit]-According to the Manual of Style page for Japanese articles, it does not appear there should be any reason for a hyphen in this article name (nor "Kara-mon"), and therefore I have moved "Kara-hafu" to "Karahafu" and made corresponding changes in the article text.
-Fixed referencing problems and clarified inline citations
-Rewrote/reworded much of article to a more encyclopedic and legible standard, but used no new sources and added/changed very little information.
-General wikifying - links, categories, etc
This article is an orphan and could use more articles linking to it. AMorozov (talk) 09:13, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Gable or bargeboard (nitpicking)
[edit]I notice that there are sources referring to the karahafu as both bargeboard or as gable. Also this article seems to mention both, gable and bargeboard when referring to karahafu. So, is a karahafu a bargeboard, a gable or the combination of the two? bamse (talk) 22:41, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
