Kamnitz GorgeKamenice Gorge – The modern name should be preferred over the historical one, and it should be consistent with the Kamenice (Elbe) river page. It is commonly used in literature (National Geographic, Lonely Planet) and in official promotional materials. The name Kamnitz Gorge is probably just a remnant of the dewiki translation, and although it also appears in English-language online sources, they may be greatly influenced by the title on enwiki. Support based on Ngram Viewer which shows Kamenice to have been the more common name since WW2. However, the historical name should be clearly linked mentioned to allow readers of historical (and some modern) sources to find and identify the article with their source. Support per WP:MPN. Also agree that the German name should remain in the lede / as a redirect. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 15:04, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
