Sources?

[edit]

Are there any reliable, preferably English language sources on the Kamchatka? Does Drachnifel's video have any documents backing it up? These would be very useful for expanding this article. PottedPlanWP (talk) 15:19, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I just put a citation request on the open task lists of the applying WPMILHIST taskforces. ...GELongstreet (talk) 03:20, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Do you see Torpedo Boats"

[edit]

Instead of removing this information, we should make an effort to locate the sources of Drachnifel´s video. In that way we can improve this article. 190.151.63.122 (talk) 15:11, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you can start by explaining how the addition is in keeping with WP:POPCULTURE then. LostCause231 (talk) 20:58, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New Info on Old Lies

An interesting read, using memoirs from sailors. It's possible Hullwebs (and Drachnifel's video which relied heavily upon its content) was trying to push a narrative - in any case, the website is down and no archive is available. We should take it into account so if someone wants to get their hands on those books, we can make this page better. Thanks PottedPlanWP (talk) 00:57, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is very interesting. One of those instances where WP:UGC is unfortunate... Fangz (talk) 22:11, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are period news reports that support the attack on aldebaran

Still looking in the case of Sonntag and Guyane but the Kamchatka certainly appears to have had at least one engagement in the relevant period.©Geni (talk) 01:09, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sonntag is two stories above in the same paper.©Geni (talk) 01:28, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
